Users of TikTok are divided over Mohammad Nazir, who gained notoriety for satisfying the demand. While some UK fans are willing to fly across the country to spend their hard-earned money on the coveted beverage, many have criticised Nazir for the exorbitant cost.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, online investigators have now looked into Nazir’s background and found that he was a heroin dealer who was sentenced in 2015. The proprietor reportedly acknowledged his wrongdoings in a TikTok video last year.

Nazir was at the time sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to two crimes of conspiring to provide class A drugs and three counts of possessing a prohibited substance with intent to supply. Nazir was then a resident of Hatfield Street in Wakefield.

Then-34-year-old Nazir had no basis for his guilty plea and was too afraid to describe the extent of his role in the conspiracy, Nazir’s mitigating attorney, Mark Foley, told Leeds Crown Court at the time. He completed four years of service.

The court was also informed that Nazir had previously been found guilty of providing drugs twice and sentenced to prison for these offences. However, there is no other public record of the whole charge or the actual punishment that took place.

Although KSI is thrilled that his energy drink is on par with products like Gatorade, he is less than delighted with the absurd resale market.

Speaking to Capital Radio about Wakey Wines’ pricey Prime offer, KSI confessed that he “hates” any resale that costs more than the £2 suggested retail price. “I was tweeting ASDA like, “No, no, no,” even when they tried to raise their price to £2.50. It’s out of sequence. This is not being done by Prime. “Fortunately, they paid attention, and the figure remained the same.”

After four days, a YouTube video showing the singer of Not Over Yet yelling angrily into the camera in response to a Wakey Wines video surfaced. He screamed, “No, he can’t keep getting away with this.”
