His career
Arshin Kulkarni was initially known as a leg-spinner with batting prowess. But because of his physique, his coaches pushed for a shift to medium-pace bowling, and in just two years, he became a pace-bowling all-rounder. Standing tall, he bowls at a constant 120โ130 mph, and with more growth, he may reach 140 mph.
His impact was immediate, as evidenced by an unbeaten 70 in the U-19 Asia Cup opener. In the Maharashtra Premier League, Kulkarni’s sensational century and four-wicket haul led the Eagle Nashik Titans to a thrilling one-run victory.
Debuting in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Maharashtra, Kulkarni showcased composure beyond his age. His flexibility was demonstrated by his concluding batting average of over 24 and strike rate of 163.51, which included impacting efforts against Bengal and a scorching 47 against Puducherry.
