Jacious Sears received the title of South Region Track Athlete of the Year in 2023 from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Additionally, she participated at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in 2023, placing eighth in the 100 metres and earning a spot in the semifinals of the 200 metres.

Sears set a new personal record when she won the women’s 100-meter title in 10.96 seconds at the Southeastern Conference Championship (SEC) in May 2023, which took place at LSU’s Bernie Moore Track and Field Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In the 200-meter final, Sears set a new personal record by finishing second in 22.45 seconds.

At the SEC Indoor Championships in 2024, which were held at the Randal Tyson Track Centre in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Sears won the 60-meter race in 7.11 seconds and placed third in the 200-meter event in 22.96 seconds.

In the 2023 indoor track and field competitions held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the young athelte achieved personal records, clocking in times of 22.57 seconds for the 200 metres and 7.04 seconds for the 60 metres.

At the 2024 NCAA Division I Indoor Championships in Boston, Massachusetts, the 22-year-old showed off her stunning performance by finishing sixth in the 200 metres (22.69 seconds) and fourth in the 60 metres (7.13 seconds).
