Djed Spence, whose full name is Diop Tehuti Djed-Hotep Spence is an English football player who was born on August 9, 2000, in London, England. The 23-year-old stands 1.84 m (6 ft 0 in) tall.

Spence was born in England to Jamaican parents with his mother Aisha a Kenyan and is the younger brother of actress Karla-Simone Spence.

Djed Spence signed a 5 year, $6,500,000 contract with Tottenham Hotspur F.C., including an average annual salary of $1,300,000.

Djed Spence plays as a right-back for Serie A club Genoa while on loan from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

Before leaving Fulham’s academy on July 1, 2018, Spence signed a contract with Middlesbrough. In the EFL Cup against Notts County at Riverside Stadium on August 14, 2018, he made his Middlesbrough debut as a substitute.

On December 7, 2019, Spence made his league debut for Middlesbrough in a 1-0 victory against Charlton Athletic. On December 26, 2019, he scored his first goal in the league in a 1-0 victory over Huddersfield Town.
