The disappearance of Madeline is still under investigation by the Metropolitan Police in London.

According to a close friend of the McCann family, “McCann’s are taking no chances. They are willing to look at all leads with regard to the DNA test. Everything adds up.”
Christian Bruckner is the sole suspect in this case who has been taken into custody. At the time of arresting the suspect, an official stement was released. It read, “Two counts of child sexual abuse and three counts of aggravated rape are brought against the defendant. “The inquiry into Madeleine McCann’s disappearance is ongoing.”
