Julia Antonovna Avdeeva is a Russian professional tennis player who was born on July 6, 2002, in Siberia. She is currently 21 years old, and comes from a family of athletes, as both her parents were athletes. Despite training in St. Petersburg for a long time, she now trains in Germany with a coach. The young tennis star is a big fan of Aryna Sabalenka, and often tries to play a little like her.
In her way to the 2024 French Open, Julia Avdeeva defeated Emiliana Arango 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 in her first qualifiers in Paris. Following which, she defeated French star Margaux Rouvroy in just two sets. Julia Avdeeva then defeated Australian star, Olivia Gadecki in the last match.
