Judith Mary Murray is a Scottish tennis coach who was born on September 8, 1959 in Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire, Scotland. She is currently 64 years old with her net worth at $70 million.
A look at Judy Murray’s career
Murray is a respected coach who led Great Britain’s Fed Cup team from 2011 to 2016. She has coached athletes at all levels, mostly through the LTA, the governing organisation of British tennis. She is a trustee of the Judy Murray Foundation, a charitable organisation recognised by Scottish law whose mission is to increase tennis opportunities for all Scots.
She gave up on her dreams of a professional playing career despite winning 64 titles in Scotland as a junior and senior in the 1970s due to feeling homesick and being robbed in Barcelona.
She made the decision to enrol at the University of Edinburgh to study French and German, but ultimately chose to focus on business studies instead of German. She earned her degree from the University of Edinburgh in 1981, and she competed for Great Britain at the World Student Games.
