Tanga Loa made his WWE debut on Saturday in France, helping the revamped Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga) defeat Randy Orton & Kevin Owens in a street brawl.

Who is Tanga Loa?

Tevita Tu’amoeloa Fetaiakimoeata Fifita aka Tanga Loa is an American wrestler who was born on May 7, 1983 in Honolulu, Hawaii, U.S.

While Tanga Loa’s debut surprised fans, he had a deal with WWE for several months.

Fifita obtained a liberal arts degree with a major in communications and electronic media and a minor in criminal justice.

A look at Tanga Loa’s career so far

Tanga Loa now competes on SmackDown under a WWE contract as a member of The Bloodline stable. He started his professional wrestling career in 2009 with the WWE affiliate Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW).

His career took off after he left WWE and went on to win the 2015 Gut Check in TNA as Micah. But he was Tanga in NJPW, where he was quite successful in the Guerrillas of Destiny faction of Bullet Club, with his brother.

He was pomoted on the main roster in 2011 and formed a tag team with Hunico under the ring name Camacho. They worked on the NXT and SmackDown undercards for a few years.

He fought as Micah in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) for two years after leaving the WWE in 2014; he won the Gut Check title in that year. After that, he left the promotion to take on the role of Tanga Loa for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).

Additionally, he has taken part in bouts for the US-based Ring of Honour (ROH) promotion. The former ROH World Tag Team Champions are the Guerrillas of Destiny.

Tanga Loa’s family

Tanga Loa’s father’s name is Haku, another former profesional wrestler who made his stage name under King Tonga and King Haku. He also has a sister named Vika and adoptive brothers Alipate and Taula also are into wrestling.
