Taner Savut brief bio and age
Taner Savut is a Turkish citizen who is currently the team director for Turkish football club Hatayspor. Savut was born in Izmir on August 10, 1974 and is currently 48-years-old. Before his role at Hatayspor, he also reportedly worked as the sporting director for Manisa FK back in 2021.
Career
Savut was a former professional footballer before serving his current role as a sporting director. He played as a defender in the right-back positions. Savut played in many competitions throughout his career like the UEFA cup, Turkey Cup, and the Super League.
The 48-year-old player began his footballing career with the Izmirspor club. Savut went on to join several major football clubs in Turkey like Fenerbahce in 1999, Siirtspor in 2002, Alanyaspor in 2008. The last team he played for was Tokatspor before he eventually retired in 2011. Following his retirement, Savut became the sporting director for Manisa FK in 2021. He was recently appointed as the team director for Hatayspor back in 2022.

Just a few days ago, Turkey was hit by three massive earthquakes, with magnitudes of 7.8, 7.6, and 6.0 on the Richter scale. Search and rescue operations are currently underway, with thousands of people still assumed to be stuck in the rubbles.
