Alipate Aloisio Leone is a Tongan professional wrestler best known by his ring nickname, Tama Tonga who was born on October 15, 1982 in Nukuʻalofa, Tonga. He is currently 41 years old with his height at 1.83m and weight at 95 kg.

Tama Tonga is signed to WWE and currently competes as a member of The Bloodline on the SmackDown brand.

During his tenure in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) from 2010 to 2024, he was most recognised for being a founding member of Guerrillas of Destiny (G.O.D.) and Bullet Club (with Bad Luck Fale, Karl Anderson, and Prince Devitt).

Tonga started working with NJPW in 2010. He founded the stable Bullet Club in 2013 together with other gaijin wrestlers. Guerrillas of Destiny is the tag team that Tonga and his sibling founded in 2016.

Tama holds both the NEVER Openweight Champion title and the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship four times. Even though he was under contract with NJPW, WWE has been considering him for a while. Having Tama in their ranks unquestionably offers The Bloodline a big advantage.

Tama Tonga’s parents and family

Tama Tonga was adopted by Haku his uncle who is also a Tongan professional wrestler. He has a brother named Hikuleo and an adoptive brother Simi Taitoko Fale a former rugby player who now works for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) as Bad Luck Fale.

Leone and his younger brother Taula were adopted by their maternal aunt and her husband, professional wrestler Tonga Fifita from his native island of Tonga while they were visiting in 1991.

According to reports, Tama got married in 2017 however, he has kept his partner’s identity a secret.
