Indian tennis stars Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza were defeated in the Australian Open mixed doubles on the 27th of January. The match at Rod Laver Arena was truly memorable for Sania as it was the last match of the Grand Slam.

Rohan Bopanna got married to Supriya Annaiah on the 25th of November in early 2012 in the city of Coorg, Karnataka. Bopanna and Supriya met and started dating in 2010. The couple is the proud parents of a daughter named Tridha Bopanna. Supriya is a psychologist. 34 year old Supriya Annaiah also serves as the director of the Rohan Bopanna Tennis Development Foundation that is registered with Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
Rohan is said to have returned home in early 2011 after participating in a tournament andhad gone to a restaurant in Bangalore with his cousin. While they were talking, Rohan’s cousin got up to greet a young woman sitting a few blocks away in the same restaurant and Rohan also saw the girl and his heart skipped a beat. When the cousin returned, Rohan asked him to introduce the girl and this is how Rohan first met the then 24-year-old psychologist Supriya Annaiah.
Rohan and Supriya got engaged in a private ceremony in April 2012 and two two married on 25 November 2012 in a traditional Coorg (Kodagu) style.

Rohan Bopanna was born on 4 March 1980 and presently his age is 42 years as of 2023. He is a well-known Indian tennis player. His single career-high ranking was world No.213 in 2007 and his career-high ranking in was world No. 3 in doubles on 22nd July in 2013. He is presently running a tennis foundation of his own.
Bopanna partnered with Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi in the doubles which took place in 2007. The duo was nicknamed the Indo-Pak Express and went on for winning four Challenger titles in quick succession. It was only in the 2010 season that the pair broke into the top-ten doubles teams. That year, they reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon, completed runners-up in US Open and in five ATP Tour events and won the Johannesburg Open.
