The Vadgaon Sheri MLA Sunil Tingre posted in Marathi on X, formerly Twitter.
Sunil Tingre, the MLA of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), has responded to reports that he visited the Yerwada Police Station and put pressure on the police following the death of two people with a Porsche in the Kalyani Nagar area early on Sunday.
Sunil Tingre mentioned that he has nothing to do with the unfortunate accident, wrong and defamatory information about him has been spread on social media since yesterday.
He also added that he initially disregarded it, but as time went on, he recognised that the opponents were attempting to exploit the matter and he must make clear where he stands on the incident in detail.

He said, “On Sunday around 3am, my workers called to inform me that there was a major accident in my constituency. Also, my acquaintance Vishal Agarwal called and told me that his son had met with an accident. Accordingly, as a responsible public representative, I went to the spot first thing in the morning and then to Yerwada Police Station.”
Priyank Kanoongo, the chairperson of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), pleaded with activists and members of the media on Tuesday not to divulge the identity of the juvenile defendant in the Pune auto accident case. He stressed that it would be illegal to do so in accordance with the Juvenile Justice Act, which forbids revealing the name of minor victims or perpetrators.
Vedant Agarwal’s bail
A court magistrate granted bail to the juvenile, who was held following an accident that claimed the lives of two persons in the early hours of May 19, subject to conditions that included writing an essay about the tragedy and volunteering with traffic police.
Weaker provisions of the Indian Penal Code were allegedly applied under political pressure due to the “money power” of the minor’s realtor father, according to a number of leaders, including those from the Ajit Pawar-led NCP’s allies in Maharashtra’s ruling Mahayuti party.
