About Mallika Rajput
Mallika, who notably shared screen space with Kangana Ranaut in the 2014 crime comedy โRevolver Rani,โ was found hanging from a ceiling fan in a room of her house situated in the Sitakund locality of Kotwali police station area, as authorities reported.
Her journey in the limelight extended beyond cinema, as she also featured in the music video for Shaanโs song โYaara Tujhe.โ Mallika briefly delved into politics, aligning herself with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2016 before parting ways two years later.
Seeking solace in spirituality thereafter, she assumed the role of National Secretary General of the Bharatiya Savarna Sangh in Uttar Pradesh in 2022.
Beyond her artistic pursuits, Mallikaโs talents transcended boundaries; she was a proficient Kathak dancer and ventured into the realm of poetry, crafting and performing her own ghazals at various gatherings.

According to Mallikaโs mother, Sumitra Singh, the family was unaware of the timing of her demise as they were asleep. Singh recounted to media, โInitially, the door was shut, and the light was on.
โAfter attempting to open the door three times without success, I peered through the window and witnessed her hanging. Despite calling for assistance, our daughter had already passed away.โ
While initial assessments suggest the grim possibility of suicide, authorities await the conclusive findings of the postmortem examination to ascertain the precise cause of Mallikaโs demise.
