Upon her departure on Monday, Suchana Seth left alone, requesting a taxi to Bengaluru despite suggestions to opt for a flight. When the hotel personnel saw her son was missing, they were suspicious. Later, they found bloodstains in the apartment she vacated.
Prompted by the hotel staff’s observations, Goa police intervened, engaging the taxi driver. After first giving misleading information on her son’s location, Seth became entangled in the lie.
In Konkani, Goa police subtly gave the driver instructions to steer the taxi toward the Chitradurga police station, where she was being held. The horrifying finding came when investigators discovered her son’s corpse stashed inside the luggage she was taking.
Though details are yet unknown, it has been suggested that Suchana Seth’s strained relationship with her husband may have contributed to the unfortunate event. The police notified her spouse, Venkat Raman, an AI developer, who then made his way to Chitradurga. Following her arrest, Seth was taken back to Goa for further interrogation.
