Sergio Camello Pérez is a Spanish professional footballer who was born on February 10, 2001, in Madrid, Spain. He is currently 23-years-old and plays as a forward for La Liga club Rayo Vallecano wearing the No. 34 shirt. Sergio was a part of the Spanish national team that won the Olympic final against France, scoring two goals.

Career and achievements
Sergio Camello started out his football journey at the age of after joining Atlético Madrid’s youth setup in 2009 – CDS Las Encinas de Boadilla. He eventually made his senior debut with the reserves on September 23, 2018, as a second-half substitute. It was during a 4–2 Segunda División B away win against CDA Navalcarnero where he scored the equalizer.
He then made his first team and La Liga just debut six days later coming on as a half-time substitute for Thomas Partey. He ended up scoring the equalizer in a 2–2 away draw against Levante UD. Following the goal, Sergio became the first player born in the 21st century to score for Atletico.
The following season, on August 31, 2021, Sergio Camello moved to Segunda División side CD Mirandés on a loan. During his time there, he played about 36 games, scoring 15 goals throughout the campaign. On August 3, 2022, Camello renewed his contract with Atletico up until 2026. However, he moved to Rayo Vallecano on loan for the 2022-23 season, making 38 appearances, and scoring 6 goals. Last year, on August 17, 2023, Camello signed a permanent four-year deal with Rayo, where he currently plays.
Sergio Camello has played at the international level at all different youth age groups starting from the U-16s to the U-23s. He most recently played for the Spain Olympic team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
