Who is Ottniel Baartman?
Ottniel Baartman is a South African cricket player who was born on March 18, 1993 in Oudtshoorn, South Africa. The 31 year old has a height of 179 cm and is a right arm medium pace bowler who can bowl persistently in the 130-140 kmph range.
His ability to nail yorkers on a regular basis has made him a well-known right-arm fast. It was January 22, 2015 when Ottniel Baartman made his first-class debut for South Western Districts in the 2014–15 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup.
The player was named in the Northern Cape team’s September 2018 Africa T20 Cup roster. In September of that year, he was involved in the Northern Cape team for the CSA Provincial T20 Cup 2019–20.
Baartman was included in South Africa’s Test team for their series against Pakistan in January 2021. But a medical condition later that month sidelined him from going on the tour.
