She started singing at the young age of four as a soprano in her church choir.
Both her parents used to sing at church and they introduced me to singing when she was a little kid. Her family is musical and she got her singing skills from her mother who has been a singer all her life and is an artist and therapist as well. While Francis was born in a Christian family, the names of her parents aren’t known.
Kenishaa is a singer, songwriter who basically writes Afro-Cuban music and sings in a couple of different languages as well. In 2009, Tamil cinemaโs leading actor Jayam Ravi married his longtime girlfriend Aarthi, the daughter of producer Sujatha Vijayakumar. Despite Aarthi coming from a wealthy family, Jayam Raviโs parents initially hesitated to approve of the union. According to the Nakkiran news website, it is rumored that Jayam Ravi threatened his parents with a knife, insisting that he would only live with Aarthi.
Later, while the actor was losing weight for one of his film roles, his parents, mistakenly believing that he was slimming down to please Aarthi, agreed to the marriage. A grand wedding ceremony followed, attended by many celebrities including Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. However, speculation has arisen around the involvement of singer Kenishaa Francis, whom Jayam Ravi reportedly met during a trip to Goa with his college friends. Originally from Bangalore, Kenishaa began her career singing in pubs and has since worked on various independent projects, including a Tamil album produced by actor Jeeva.
