The event was captured on camera and has since gone viral on social media. Tyagi and the woman are seen fighting verbally. During the fight, Tyagi shoves the woman and yells at her.
Reports said the woman objected to Tyagi’s urge to plant trees, which sparked the altercation. Sector 93B in Noida is where the Grand Omaxe society is located. Since then, he has been a hot topic of discussion with many people trying to find out more about him. So, here’s what we know about him:
Who Is Shrikant Tyagi?
Shrikant Tyagi is known for being a self-proclaimed member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has recently been in the news because his recently viral video created a huge controversy. Now, he is on the run and his illegally built structure outside his Noida’s residence was demolished by government officials on Monday.
According to his Facebook profile, his birthdate is 19 January. He is from Gaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. He was the National Co-Coordinator at Bharatiya Janata Party Kisaan Morcha and a National Executive Member of Bharatiya Janata Party Kisaan Morcha.
However, BJP denies those charges. The BJP, on the other hand, has distanced itself from Tyagi and refuted his claims of affiliation. Tyagi was not connected to the party locally, according to Mahesh Sharma, the MP for Gautam Buddha Nagar.
The alleged Facebook and Instagram profiles of Tyagi had 81,000 and 52,400 followers, respectively.

In the trending video, a guy dressed in a black suit (Shrikant Tyagi) threatens and verbally abuses a lady. In addition, he abused the woman’s husband. Tyagi resumed his diatribe while the person who was filming the incident attempted in vain to stop him. He shoved a person who attempted to break up the altercation.
Reportedly, the woman had requested that Tyagi take down the palm tree he had placed in the park. Tyagi and society have been in conflict since 2019. The society’s management asserts that the man trespassed into the public area of the building.
The lady alleged that Shrikant Tyagi threatened to harm her family if she touched his plants. According to Noida’s ACP Ankita Sharma, the event happened on August 5 in Noida’s Sector 93B’s Grand Omaxe society. The footage was noted by the police, who also filed an FIR. They’re trying to locate Shrikant Tyagi.

According to Noida Police, the FIR filed on Friday has been amended to include IPC sections 323 (the penalty for willingly inflicting harm), 504 (intentional insult with a purpose to incite a breach of the peace), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), and 447 (punishment for criminal trespass).
On Monday, the Noida Police announced a reward of Rs 25,000 for information leading to the capture of missing lawmaker Shrikant Tyagi. Anu is the wife of Srikhant.
Several teams of the Noida Police are presently cooperating to pinpoint the position of the fugitive accused as part of a serious effort to apprehend him, according to reports.
IANS was informed by sources that various police teams searched the area between Haridwar and Rishikesh in Uttarakhand where Tyagi was last seen, but they were unable to locate him.
