Who is Yung Mula YNOM as video of black pilot goes viral on TikTok and Twitter/X for his dreads and grill
This is actually disrespectful. This young man worked hard to become a pilot, and he should not be referred to as a “YN.” I really wish you all would stop that. https://t.co/nKsrz0iZyw

After releasing a video of himself with grills and dreadlocks after a successful flight, a Black pilot named Yung Mula is receiving criticism and doubts about his abilities owing to his non conventional looks which has stirred a debate between social media users. However, many have come to the black pilot’s defence, citing his skillset which saw him become not only a pilot but a captain which negates how he looks.
Yung Mula is viral on TikTok where he often posts videos about his work.
“I can assure his grill, Ebonics and “swagger” doesn’t instill confidents in his passengers, I wouldn’t feel comfortable with my pilot wearing braids.”

EasyJet flight pilot
Meanwhile, the pilot of an EasyJet flight to Manchester passed out at the controls, forcing an emergency landing in Greece.
As cabin crew members threw down their drink trolleys and hurried to the front of the aircraft while yelling for medical help, panic broke out on board.
“At first we thought this may of been a passenger as nothing much was being said other than the screams asking if anyone is medically trained, where a few passengers got up and assisted the cabin crew,” one passenger told.
Before declaring that the plane would have to make an emergency landing, staff hastily put up a screen surrounding the critically ill pilot, which further alarmed the passengers.
“The ride began to get very rough & scary and as we approached the runway,” the passenger said. “We started to panic. I got upset once I felt how rocky and rough the landing was and started to panic thinking it was the end.”
Athens airport, where emergency vehicles were waiting on the tarmac, the co-pilot successfully landed the aircraft. The co-pilot received a “very big well done” from the passengers for their efforts.
After the event, travelers were left stuck in Athens, where some had to wait two hours for bus transportation.
It comes after two swans crashed into a jet’s glass seconds after takeoff, forcing the aircraft to make an emergency landing at Gatwick Airport.
If your pilot looks like this in a white male dominated field, please believe he’s the best of the bunch…
They wouldn’t even hire him unless he was perfect in every way as a pilot https://t.co/YnOn0uLQ80

The birds hit at about 185 mph, shattering the cockpit window of the Tui plane, which was climbing through 1,000 feet on its way to Cape Verde.
Pilots quickly returned to the airport after making a distress call.
