On Wednesday, Indian markswoman Ashi Chouksey had a total of 590 and qualified 18th with a score of 580.
Chouksey finished third with a score of 451.9 in the eight-woman final.

Ashi Chauksey, who was born on July 3rd, 2002, is a Bhopal native who chose shooting as her profession.
Ashi Chouskey’s Early Life
In 2017, in Pachmarhi, India, she began her adventure into filmmaking. She was motivated by a desire to engage in a fun pastime that wasn’t part of her career. She remembered how her school had put a lot of focus on academics, which she wasn’t keen on adhering to.
She claimed that starting in class 9, her school offered the National Cadet Corps programme and that she had enrolled in it with the purpose of skipping class.
Ashi Chouksey’s Career
- Ashi is currently ranked 56th in the world at the 50-meter 3P competition.
- Her achievements include winning the mixed team gold medal at the ISSF World Cup in Baku in 2022.
- At the ISSF World Cup in Changwon in 2022, she won a bronze medal, this time in the team competition.
- She receives training at the MP State Shooting Academy in Bhopal from coaches Ms Suma Sirur and Mr Vaibhav Sharma.
Ashi Chouksey Future Plans
Ashi has her sights set on the Olympics in Paris in 2024 and hopes to participate in them.
In order to avoid feeling the strain of competition, she says she tries to keep herself busy and occupied before competitions. This is part of her self-improvement approach to competition.
She says, “At the end of the day, I recognise that my biggest rival is me.”
Ashi’s voyage has received support from the government as a result of the “Procurement of Kit” initiative. She received £1,97,283 in financial support throughout the Paris Olympic Cycle.
Ashi Chouksey’s accomplishments in the sport of shooting are a reflection of her commitment and talent, and her aspirations to compete in the future Olympics in Paris are evidence of her drive and desire.
