Shemar Stewart shines at 2025 NFL Combine

Defensive linesman Stewart managed to put up impressive numbers across every set of drills at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. The youngster managed to run a 4.60 on his first attempt, followed by a 4.59 on his second attempt at the 40-yard dash. As a result, he ranked fourth among linemen. Stewart also recorded an impressive 40-inch vertical jump and a 10’11” broad jump.

The Texas A&M edge rusher also recorded a 1.58-second 10-yard split (4.59 overall), besides tying for the second-fastest split by any defender over 265 pounds in the last 15 years. He scored a perfect 10.00 under the Relative Athletic Score (RAS).

Shemar Stewart is an American football defensive end who was born on November 12, 2003, in Miami, Florida to Jamaican parents. He was raised in Miramar, Florida, and as of 2025, he is currently 21 years old. Shemar played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies and recently declared for the 2025 NFL Draft. ESPN ranked him at No. 7 among the country’s top draft prospects this season. Stewart committed to Texas A&M University back in February 2022 and played for the Aggies for three seasons.

Shemar’s parents, Brandon Marquez and Latoya Smith have been instrumental in shaping his career. Shemar has a NIL valuation of $461,000, positioning him as the second-highest valued defensive lineman.
