The ASU scuba girl video has gone viral on Twitter/X and Reddit
In the “Scuba Girl” video, a woman is seen on a rooftop with two males in a highly s*xual setting, replete with a snorkel being placed in an inappropriate location.

The contentious subject of a video featuring a purported Arizona State University student now known by online communities as the “ASU Scuba Girl” has recently been the talk of the internet.
Who is Ry DeSabato as alleged ASU “Scuba Girl” video goes viral on Reddit and Instagram
In December 2024, Reddit user /u/itsgibby123 asked the /r/ASU subreddit, “Scuba Girl, anyone down to slide over the video?” This was the first recorded reference of the video. Although that post didn’t receive much attention at the time, it deteriorated significantly over time.
On April 11th, 2025, “Scuba Girl” became a huge hit. “You must not be familiar with the scuba girl,” X user @skatteboner remarked in a discussion discussing which institution could produce the next “viral whore.”
A few hours later, people like @voddysodas and @jimmy_balls123 begin sharing snippets of the video, and views soar. In a matter of days, hundreds of thousands of plays will be produced. In the video, a person is seen recording the now-famous rooftop view on their phone screen.
Who is Ry DeSabato?
Even if the woman in the video isn’t identified, the Burnerverse nevertheless made an effort to dox her or at the at least, find someone to blame. Thus, on April 11th, a number of anonymous accounts began to assert that the woman was Arizona State University Student Ry DeSabato.
Alongside other women who have been dragged through the Burnerverse mud, such as Mary Kate Cornett and Nikki Capocci, DeSabato’s face was photoshopped onto Mount Rushmore in one post by @fuhitrah7. On Instagram, another account, @PostUpPoet, boasted of DMing DeSabato directly. Suddenly, Ry DeSabato was the most recent college student to be targeted by a full-fledged online swarm.
A chart of the distance between Tempe Town and a Bikini Bean Barista shop was shared later on April 11th by X user @ed_da_catholic, who wrote, “It’s pretty crazy to think that #goonicide and #scubagirl happened less than 10 minutes away from eachother #justthinking.”
