The mega finale was shown on Sony TV on April 2, 2023. Rishi Singh, Shivam Singh, Bidipta Chakraborty, Debosmita Roy, Sonakshi Kar, and Chirag Kotwal were the top six contestants in the show.
All of these contenders had a strong chance of winning the competition because they all consistently performed throughout the whole season.
However, among all of them, Rishi Singh was able to clinch the trophy as Indian Idol season 13’s winner. Debosmita Roy was named the season’s first runner-up, while Chirag Kotwal bagged the second runner-up of the competition.

The 19-year-old, Rishi Singh, was born in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, in 2003. In Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, Rishi attended Cambrian School for the majority of his education. In Dehradun, Uttrakhand, Rishi is presently pursuing his graduation at Himgiri Zee University. He is single and is not dating anyone currently.
Rishi Singh’s Family
Rajendra Singh is Rishi’s father, and Anjali Singh is his mother. Rishi stated that he is not his parents’ biological child during the show (Indian Idol 13).
In one of the interviews, Rishi disclosed that his parents discouraged him from pursuing singing as a career because they preferred that he finish his formal education and choose a secure position. Rishi added that he began his musical career by singing hymns in gurudwaras and temples.

Rishi Singh was declared the season’s winner during the season finale on April 2, 2023. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. gave Rishi a brand-new Brezza in honour of his winning Indian Idol 13 by giving him the title. Sony Entertainment Television gave him a victory trophy and a payment of Rs. 25 lakhs.
In 2019, he auditioned for season 11 of Indian Idol in Mumbai but was eliminated after the fourth round. In the same year, he also performed in the annual music concert at the Ram Katha Museum in Ayodhya. In 2022, he also appeared on the Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV.
Rishi Singh also has a YouTube channel in addition to being a singer and songwriter. He has given his voice to a few music covers of Bollywood songs like Aaj Bhi (2020), Labon Ko (2021), and Phir Mohabbat (2022) on his Youtube channel. Some of his music videos include Hum Jee Lenge (2021), Asoomiyan (2021), and Ilteja Meri (2022).
The singer has 869k followers on Instagram and is followed by cricketer Virat Kohli.
