The site where Priya’s body was discovered lies approximately 10-15 kilometers from the university. Etawah Senior Superintendent of Police, Sanjay Varma, revealed that the victim bore serious injury marks, suggesting the use of a pointed weapon on her neck or a close-range shooting. Suspects arrested in Priya Mishra’s case
Two people including the primary accused in the case were taken into custody by the police on Friday.
The culprit, a 30-year-old married man named Mahendra Batham was recognised by the police as Priya Mishra’s neighbour. Priya was the 21-year-old whose body was discovered abandoned on a road around 10-15 km away from the university.
