Anthony Ammirati’s Performance
At the Paris Olympics 2024, the track and field event started earlier this week, with the pole vault qualification event scheduled for Saturday.
The French athlete successfully cleared 5.40 m and 5.60 m on his first attempt, however, he failed to clear 5.70 m, resulting in his 12th place finish.
Ahead of the game, Anthony Ammirati, expressed his excitement on social media with his over 28,000 Instagram followers.

Anthony Ammirati first came to the spotlight three years ago in Salon-de-Provence by setting a new Under-20 national record with a 5.72-meter jump.
A month later, he won gold at the U20 European Championships with a 5.64-meter jump and kept exceling, showcasing his prowess in improving his performance to 5.75 m and eventually breaking the French junior pole vault record with a 5.81-m jump in August 2022, which remains his highest clearance till date.
Aside from being an athlete, Ammirati, is also a police officer, as in February 2023, he revealed that he had become a reserve police officer.
Taking to Instagram, the athlete shared a picture of him receiving his certificate and expressing his enthusiasm for this new journey.
