Sara Milliken is a plus-size model and the reigning Miss Alabama 2024. She hails from Atmore, Alabama. She is currently just 23 years old and runs a podcast titled “Girls Gotta Glow”, which focuses on female empowerment. Notably, the 23-year-old shared how she previously tried competing at the Miss Alabama pageant twice before winning it this year.
This year’s Miss Alabama USA 2024 took place at the Gogue Performing Arts Center at Auburn University on Memorial Day weekend, Friday and Saturday, May 31-June 1. The competition featured 34 women from around the state, of whom Sara Milliken emerged as the winner.
Sara Milliken hits back at trolls
Following her dramatic win, Sara soon had to face an onslaught of online trolls targeting her physical appearance. However, instead of taking it all in, Milliken decided to hit back by reminding her trolls that:
‘Things you type online, can have a lasting impression on people.’
She also stated in a recent interview:
No matter what your body looks like, no matter where you come from, you can do anything you set your mind to.”
She also added how she aims to foster a “positive self-image by enhancing the natural beauty within.”

Following her recent achievement, Sara Milliken has received mixed responses from various people online.
One user trolled her, saying:

Another user named John Mason commented:

Meanwhile, some others have come out to support her, stating:
