On January 22, four days before turning seventeen, he made his FC Barcelona senior squad debut in a 3-1 Copa del Rey victory away at Unionistas. He replaced Christensen at halftime, and in his forty-five minutes on the field, he appeared composed when the ball was at his feet, demonstrated awareness of playmaking opportunities, and played strong defence when necessary.

Cubarsi, a Catalan native born in Estanyol, Girona, started his career there until moving to Barcelona in 2018. After being called up by manager Xavi, he practised with the first team for the first time in April 2023.
