The woman, Patricia Kopta, now 83, was found on the island after she shared tidbits about her past to nursing home employees who had been taking care of her for years, Chief Brian Kohlhepp of the Ross Township Police Department said. Her husband Bob Kopta said he had been married to Mrs Kopta for 20 years before she went missing in 1992.

Who is Patricia Kopta?
Patricia Kopta, who is also known by her name โThe Sparrow,โ was a Pittsburgh street preacher. Brian Kohlhepp, deputy police chief in the Ross Township, said that Patricia Kopta who vanished in early 1992 and leads in her case had been pursued over years.
โI came back home, one night she is just gone somewhere, nobody knows where she is,โ her husband Bob Kopta said.
Patricia Kopta got lost in the North Hills in early 1992, as per Bob Kopta. Ross Townshipโs deputy police chief, Brian Kohlhepp, has claimed that a social worker and an Interpol agent have been recently in touch with him. They thought they had located her alive at an adult care facility which is 1,700 miles away.
Patricia Kopta was brought up to an adult care facility in June early 1999 after being discovered to need care, as per people who notified the police officials.
โKopta declined to discuss private life with any person,โ as per Ross Township police. When she landed in Puerto Rico, she allegedly traveled there on a cruise ship from Europe. There’s absolutely no proof that Kopta was ever in Europe, as per the investigators.
As per Ross Township police, missing Patricia Kopta has refused to talk about their personal life with anyone. She claimed to have arrived in Puerto Rico on a cruise ship that came from Europe. The Investigators have discovered no trace of her from Europe.
As per Kohlhepp, as the Sparrow grew older, she started to open up to people around her. People in Puerto Rico recognize the link and then contacted the police department. Kohlhepp said, โWe contacted an agent from Interpol as well as a social worker from Puerto Rico who believed they had her in an adult care home in Puerto Rico.”
They said she came to care in early 1999 when she was found in need in the streets where she has been wandering around. While there, she refused to discuss her private life or where she came from.
