Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav beat Nirahua in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, but Nirahua got back at Akhilesh by defeating Akhilesh’s brother Dharmendra Yadav in Azamgarh.
The 43 year old who was born on 2 February, 1979 has a height of 5 feet 6 inches and is married to wife Mansha Devi. His father is Kumar Yadav while his mother is Chandra Jyoti Devi and he has a net worth of Rs.7 crore. He is a Hindu by religion and of the OBC community and was born in Ghazipur.

Humka Aisa-Visa Na Samajha was Nirahua’s first film, however his first release came in 2006 with “Chalat Musafir Moh Leo Re.” He goes by the name “Nirahua” in this movie. Dinesh Lal Yadav is from a low-income family. His father used to work in Kolkata for Rs 3500 a month, and in addition to his wife, he had to take care of 5 children. Nirahua has three sisters and a brother. He had to walk for several kilometres back then because he didn’t even have a bicycle. His cousin Vijay Lal, a well-known Birha musician in the area, served as an influence to him when he first developed an interest for singing and music.
Thanks to the popularity of his 2003 album “Nirhua Satal Rahe,” Nirhua established a name for himself among Bhojpuri song-music listeners even before breaking into the film industry. In his electoral affidavit, he claimed to have assets of roughly Rs 6 crore. He also owns a Toyota Fortuner and a Range Rover. He also made his OTT debut in the first Bhojpuri internet serial, “Hero Vardi Wala,” in 2019.
Alongside Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, he also starred in the 2012 movie “Ganga Devi.” The first Bhojpuri movie to be filmed outside of India in 2018 was “Nirhua Chalal London.” He also made an appearance on “Bigg Boss” in 2012. His 2016 movie “Patna Se Pakistan” was also a big hit at the box office.
