According to a report published by The Wall Street Journal on Sunday, Jul 24th, Google’s co-founder Sergey Brin’s wife Nicole Shanahan, had a brief affair with Tesla’s boss Elon Musk.
According to the report, the news of their affair prompted Sergey Brin to file for divorce and he has terminated his friendship with Musk.
Elon Musk, who’s always been the centre of headlines, had an affair with Shanahan in December last year. Although, at the time, Brin and his wife were separated, they were still living together.
According to the Journal, Brin, who married to silicon valley entrepreneur in 2018, filed for divorce in January, citing that “irreconcilable differences”, a few weeks later after learning about the brief affair.
According to a source who’s familiar with the situation, told the Journal in a statement that, earlier this year at a party Elon apologized to Sergey. Brin accepted his apology but he isn’t on good terms with Musk.

Nicole Shanahan is a California-based Attorney and the founder and president of the Bia-Echo Foundation.
Although she’s from California, she went to college at The National University of Singapore.
Nicole married Brin in 2018 and the couple shared a daughter. According to a source, Nicole met with Brin at a yoga retreat called Wanderlust around 7 years ago before they decided to get married.
Shanahan and Brin, both were married before meeting each other. While Brin was married to a co-founder of genetics company 23andMe Inc., Anne Wojcicki. Shanahan was married to a finance executive.
Shanahan was born to her parents in 1989 in Oakland, California, United States and is aged 33 but her date of birth is not known. She doesn’t have an official Instagram account.
