Who is Rodney Peterson?
Rodney Peterson, popularly referred to as “Not Logan Paul,” is well known for his appearance on social media and for resembling the real Logan Paul.
Following his encounter with Diaz outside of the Misfits Boxing 6 event in New Orleans, Louisiana, in April of 2023, Peterson rose to fame. Diaz got into a street brawl with Peterson, the Logan Paul imitator, last year. The former UFC heavyweight was sent off for hurling a water bottle at TV personality Chase DeMoor while he was in New Orleans for the Misfits Boxing 6 event.
He got into limelight when he made a tik tok account in 2020 and started posting videos. As others began to see similarities between him and “The Maverick,” everything radically changed. The followers started flooding his comment section with “Logal Paul” name and that’s how he discovered he was compared to a popular influencer. He told theย Insider:ย
“In early 2021, I’d never heard of YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul. But when people started flooding my comments section saying they thought I looked like him, I googled him and discovered he’s a hugely popular influencer with a controversial past.”

It was Rodney Peterson’s wife who introduced him to the social media. The Logan Paul lookalike got brought up to TikTok in 2020 by his other half. After that, he made an account and mostly posted videos of his kids and his interests in jiu-jitsu and music videos.
The 36 year old has four children and also posts about his hobbies on Instagram which are music and ju-jitsu a form of Japanese martial arts as well as his children. His son is a fan of Logan Paul.
