Angad Bisht is an Indian MMA fighter who was born on June 5, 1995, in Chingwad village, Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. Unlike most fighters, Bisht had a very different journey in his quest of becoming a professional MMA fighter. The young man from Uttarakhand was all set on sitting for the Public Service Commission test and initially pursued a different profession. Along with his parents’ encouragement, Angad was on course to become a doctor.
According to Bisht, despite having the intellectual capacity for medicine, his heart was set on MMA. As a result, he switched from a traditional vocation to one of the most unconventional options for any young Indian.
