Mitchell Lee Wiggins is an American former basketball player who specialised in shooting guard position. The 64-year-old was born on September 28, 1959, Kinston, North Carolina, U.S and measured 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) tall.

In the 1983 NBA Draft, Wiggins was chosen with the 23rd overall choice by the Indiana Pacers. He was then dealt to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Sidney Lowe and a second-round pick. The Bulls sent Caldwell Jones to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Wiggins and draft selections during the 1984 off-season.

He was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers for the 1991-92 season. He played in the NBA for just one season, 1991–1992. During his NBA tenure, he scored 3,877 points. Following his return to Europe, Wiggins played for Milon Nea Smyrni, Sporting Athens, and Panionios Nea Smyrni during his illustrious Greek League career.

In the Philippine Basketball Association, he played for the Tondeña 65 Rhummasters, a minor league team in the United States, and the French League’s CSP Limoges.
