Voit hit an RBI triple in the second inning, and celebrated by pretending to snort the third-base chalk line. While the gesture initially seemed like an accident, Voit quickly revealed that it was intentional and that he was mimicking a “cocaine snorting” motion. He went 3-for-3 with three runs, besides securing four RBIs, and dominating alongside his teammate Colby Turner. Turner recorded a total of three hits and a career-high six RBIs. Meanwhile, on the mound, Kurt Barr and Will Rogers combined for a shutout as Barr pitched six scoreless innings with four strikeouts. Rogers on the other hand, struck out three batters in his one inning.

Mitch Voit is a young and upcoming college baseball star who hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Voit is a standout infielder and pitcher known for his exceptional versatility. Throughout his short career, he has earned multiple honors, including a spot on Baseball America’s Third Team Preseason All-American list. He was also included in the Perfect Game Preseason All-Conference Team.
Mitch is the youngest of his two brothers, and along with his sister grew up in an active family and it was his dad, Todd, who had him playing with his older brothers, learning the game. Todd played shortstop during his playing days in high school and added pitching later in his career. His mom is named Sharon and his two brothers are Nathan and Joe and sister is Gabriella

Career and stats
Mitch Voit has so far had a very successful baseball journey with steady progress and standout performances. As a sophomore, Mitch earned an All-Big Ten First Team Utility Selection honors. So far this season, he has racked up seven extra-base hits, including five doubles, one triple, and one home run.
Mitch was recently named a Big Ten Player of the Week, following a .667/.739/1.222 slash line across five games. He also managed to register a four-hit performance against Michigan State this week, with six runs and 12 RBIs over five games. While his recent recognition marks his first-ever in his career, it marks Michigan’s fourth weekly conference award this season.
After his first full year with Whitefish Bay baseball team, Mitch Voit was awarded Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year and the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association Division 1 Player of the Year and he batted over .500 and went undefeated as a pitcher with an earned runs average at 0.54.
Mitch played most of his life at Hitters Baseball Academy in Caledonia and it was special playing for him for the community of Whitefish Bay and because of success like that the Michigan recruit headed to Ann Arbor as a two-way player.
