According to the NYPD, Mora, along with an accomplice, tried to rob the agent and his companion at gunpoint. As the confrontation escalated, Mora shot the agent, who also fired back, leaving both of them injured. Authorities shortly apprehended him after he checked into a Bronx hospital with gunshot wounds. As of now, the accomplice still remains on the run.
