However, a Torino staff member, was seen concealing and taking notes at Roma’s training field over the weekend, suggesting that their opponents may have interfered with their preparations.
According to Corriere dello Sport’s online edition, the Spinaceto police were snooping on the Giallorossi finishing practice in order to pick up some tactical tips from the opposition when they discovered Michele Orecchio, a collaborator of Ivan Juric of Torino.
Orecchio was stopped during a routine police check that takes place every day around the Trigoria sports complex. Last season, Nuno Santos, a former Mourinho aide, discovered the same individual snooping on Roma. Paulo Dybala scored the game’s lone goal as Torino fell to Roma 1-0, making his spying operation eventually futile.
It has been stated that Orecchio was watching the team at the training facility in an attempt to learn Daniele de Rossi’s side’s strategy. To watch AS Roma’s methods, he hid himself in the trees next to the “Fulvio Bernardini” training facility.

Who is Michele Orecchio?
Michele Orecchio is a Torino FC staff member, the team managed by Ivan Juric. He was caught stalking Roma training session ahead of their clash.
However, Orecchio has done this before before a match versus Roma before as well. Nuno Santos, Jose Mourinho’s assistant, discovered Orecchio carrying recording equipment at Roma’s training facilities in April of last year.
Football did not have any formal regulations against spying until 2019, when Leeds United, managed by Marcelo Bielsa, was fined for spying on Derby County before to their EFL Championship semi-final. In the end, Leeds prevailed 2-0, and Bielsa subsequently disclosed that his squad had spied on every opponent.
