How did Michael Leneghan succumb to his death?
Yip..I’m from Edinburgh and all that people are talking about is the covering up of a crime so quickly and said it was a bus…on a street that has no bus traffic or stops. It is difficult to find witnessed that don’t have their heads in their arses. @crai https://t.co/FVFcWZKdX4

Following the incident, Police Scotland appealed to the public, requesting they respect the privacy of Mr. Leneghan’s family and avoid sharing any images or videos of the event that had surfaced online. To investigate the scene, police closed off several streets, including Blair Street, Guthrie Street, and Candlemaker Row. A cordon was established, and additional coverings were placed on the South Bridge to obstruct the view from above.
Katie McLaughlin, a 31-year-old from Dumfries, reportedly shared with the Daily Record that she was in the vicinity during the incident. According to her, someone had mentioned that police were outside and a severed head had been discovered in Cowgate. Initially, she nearly laughed, assuming it was a Halloween prank.
Another individual who was present at Cowgate recounted to The Sun that they were enjoying time with friends at the Supercube karaoke bar when they were abruptly instructed to evacuate. Reports indicate that multiple witnesses observed the incident before authorities ordered early closures of bars, clubs, and hotels within the area. Despite police advisories discouraging the sharing of content, images and videos from the scene circulated widely on social media.
