The pronouncement of the death sentence came on Tuesday, October 20, following his indictment on two charges of first-degree murder, one act of burglary with a battery, and one count of burglary while armed by a Putnam County grand jury.

Who Is Mark Wilson?
Mark Wilson is an American man and a heinous criminal. He has been in the news because he was recently in the news because he may become the second person after Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz in recent years to get the death penalty.
He has a methamphetamine addiction and was found guilty of the murder in September after confessing to his mother Chrissy Adkins in a police-arranged taped phone conversation.
He was residing in an outbuilding belonging to the Baker family at the time of the incident, who had recently moved to Putnam County from Polk County to be closer to the family.

Mark Wilson confessed to killing the boys after his mother Chrissy Adkins pleaded with him, to tell the truth. He said he did it because he had intrusive thoughts that the victim’s family intended to report him and his girlfriend to child protective services for abusing their daughter and that they had planned to harm her. Nevertheless, Wilson’s death was sought after by the victims’ families.
As he was living with the victim’s family at the time when the incident happened, the victim’s mother Sarah Baker’s testimony during the trial last month revealed that Wilson had a sharp knife that was ultimately found to be the murder weapon.
The jury’s deliberations on whether to sentence Wilson to life in prison or to death are scheduled to start today.
