Manchester City has reportedly finalized a deal to sign Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves after catching the eye of Pep Guardiola with his technical ability and attacking instincts. Following the move, he was recently spotted leaving after his Manchester City medical, and the deal is now close to being officially completed. According to reports, City will pay Wolves £33.7 million for the wing-back.

Rayan Ait-Nouri is an Algerian professional footballer who was born on 6 June 2001 in Montreuil, France. He is currently 24 years old, and although he was born and raised in France, he chose to represent Algeria at the senior international level. He most recently played as a left-back or a left wing-back for Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers and is now all set to join Manchester City.
His parents moved to France in their early 20s and his mother worked as a cleaner while his father worked on the runway at Orly Airport. Rayan is currently single and unmarried.

Career and stats
Rayan Ait-Nouri started out his professional journey at Angers SCO before joining Paris FC in 2016. He signed his first pro contract at the young age of 16, and made his debut in Ligue 1 against PSG in August 2018. Following a promising start, he suffered a setback following a jaw injury in 2020.
Later that year, in October 2020, Rayan joined Wolves on loan and made an instant impact, after scoring on his debut against Crystal Palace. Wolves then made a move permanent in July 2021 for £9.8 million, and continued growing under different managers. By 2024, Rayan had made over 100 appearances for the club, scoring 4 goals in the Premier League this season.
Ait-Nouri initially started out as a youth international for France, before switching allegiance to Algeria in January 2023.
