Amir Ibragimov is an upcoming footballer who was born on April 2, 2008, in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. He currently plays as a forward, mainly as a left-winger, for the Manchester United youth academy. Although he was born in Russia, he has previously represented England at the youth international level.

Notably, the Dagestani player, moved with his family to England when he was 11 years old and started out his football journey at Sheffield United’s youth academy. Following which, he greatly impressed MUFC academy coach Raducio King, who recruited Amir Ibragimov for the club. In an interview, King stated about the Russian youngster:
I haven’t seen many who can run like him. I could see him playing as a number 10, in a Wayne Rooney role.
We don’t want Amir to lose his style or creativity and, as his coach, he has all the tools to succeed.”
Notably, Amir Ibragimov’s talents have already led him to meet legendary football manager Sir Alex Ferguson and even train with the first team. The youngster has a penchant for scoring goals and recently scored four goals against Newcastle during a match. He also has a record of five goals in his last two games, despite recently returning from injury. Amir, who was born in Russia but moved to England at a young age, is eligible to play for both Russia and England. He has already made his debut for England U-15s.
