Who is Luis de la Fuente?

Luis de la Fuente Castillo is a Spanish football manager and a former player who was born June 21, 1961, in Haro, Spain. The 63-year-old stands 1.72 m (5 ft 8 in) tall.

Luis de la Fuente who played as a left-back during his playing career is now the head coach of the Spanish football national team. 

Over 13 seasons, he scored six goals in 254 La Liga appearances with Athletic Bilbao and Sevilla. He bagged two league championships with Athletic Bilbao, including a treble with the Copa del Rey in 1984. 

Beginning in 2013, De la Fuente managed the Spanish youth teams, taking the under-19 team to the 2015 European Championship and the under-21 team to the 2019 edition.
