At forty-five, Steven Gerrard will become a grandfather as his daughter Lilly-Ella Gerrard is expecting a child with her boyfriend Lee Bryne
The daughter of former Liverpool captain and current Al-Ettifaq manager Steven Gerrard, Lilly-Ella Gerrard, is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Lee Byrne.
While Lilly-Ella comes from sporting royalty, her partner, Lee Byrne, is the son of gangster Irish Liam Byrne, who is serving a five-and-a-half-year prison sentence for a plot to stockpile machine guns.

Steven Gerrard’s eldest daughter, Lilly-Ella, said that she is expecting her first child with Lee Byrne, a gangster’s son who is presently serving time in prison. The 20-year-old shared a photo of her positive pregnancy test on Instagram along with the message, “Our little secret.” The best news is that Mini Us is on the way.
She shared both pink and blue heart emojis to hint at the gender of her unborn child.
Additionally, the model shared a black and white photo of matching “Mama” and “Papa” mugs along with laughing face emojis on her Instagram Story.
Her boyfriend, Lee, is the son of notorious Irish criminal Liam Byrne, who was sentenced to five years in prison for firearms charges in October 2024. Byrne Snr. was convicted late last year of conspiracy to import firearms after being caught in Spain in 2023, although he is only scheduled to spend half of his sentence.
He has already been detained for 14 months. Having referred to Lilly-Ella as “the best person he’s ever met,” Lee is utterly enamoured with her. The couple was first spotted together on holiday in Ibiza little over two years ago, when Lilly was eighteen and Lee was twenty-three. Lee is innocent of any wrongdoing, despite his father’s dreadful reputation.
Age 25 Lee is in a relationship with Lilly-Ella Gerrard, the daughter of former Liverpool captain Steven since October 2022 and the Dubliner has become very close to the Gerrard family, and even joined his girlfriend for Christmas in Saudi Arabia.

A feud with the INLA in 2007 and 2008 meant Byrne then picked up his crown as the new head of the branch, which is part of Ireland’s largest crime syndicates, the Kinahan Cartel.
