She played college basketball at Virginia Tech and was drafted 24th overall in the 2024 WNBA draft by the Las Vegas Aces. She comes from a strong basketball background, with her father Ralph Kitley having played professionally. Elizabeth initially started out playing multiple sports during her childhood, including softball and volleyball, before eventually focusing on basketball.
