Kimberly Ford Chisholm is not just defined by her relationship with the man who created the Mount Rushmore National Memorial. She doesn’t really enjoy Borglum’s best-known work. Five years ago, Ford Chisholm, posing as Kimberly Ford, wrote a contentious opinion piece in USA Today saying that Mount Rushmore is not a monument that Americans should be proud of after President Trump held one of his rallies with her great-grandfather’s artwork as the backdrop.

Ford Chisholm made the case that Mount Rushmore ought to be taken down, citing her great-grandfather’s membership in the Ku Klux Klan, proof of white supremacist and anti-Semitic sentiment, the monument’s placement on Native American territory, and the fact that two of the four presidents engraved on the rock owned slaves.

She also criticized Trump for summoning his supporters to the monument, writing that he “used my great-grandfather’s work as a background to foment division and willful ignorance, a rally on the ancient sacred land of a people we have persecuted, a rally that further threatens that population with pandemic.

Following her graduation from Dartmouth in 1991, Kimberley Ford Chisholm went on to get a Ph.D. in Spanish and French literature from the University of California Berkeley in 2001, as well as a master’s degree in romance languages from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996. Since then, she has worked as a speaker, adjunct professor, and writer. While her DOB isn’t known, she is aged between 50-60 years while her husband William is aged 56.

She has three children with her husband Bill Chisholm who is now the owner of Boston Celtics.

She also occasionally lectures at Kepler’s Literary Foundation, a division of the renowned San Francisco bookstore Kepler’s Books & Magazines, where she offers writing classes.

Sadly, “Hump: True Tales of S*x After Kids,” written by Ford Chisholm isn’t as sultry as it sounds. In an interview with SFGate following the book’s 2008 release, Ford Chisholm described “Hump” as a kind of guide for married couples with kids who need motivation and ideas to stay close.

Her husband William Bill Chisholm is the managing partner and co-founder of the private equity firm Symphony Technology Group. Previously, he was employed at Bain & Company in Boston.

His business specializes in investing in software, data and analytics companies and has reportedly managed assets worth $10 billion as of March 2023 but his exact net worth isn’t known.

56-year-old Bill Chisholm was born in 1969 and was raised in Georgetown, Massachusetts. After graduating from Dartmouth College and earning his master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s The Wharton School, he had previously worked for Boston-based Bain & Company.
