Kelci Bowers is a women’s football player who currently plays for AFC Bournemouth’s women’s team as a defender whose height is at 5 feet 7 inches. She is a Fareham, England native who was formerly a Tiger at LSU. She attended the Chelsea Women’s Academy for her high school football training.
She was a member of the 2021-22 FA Women’s Super League U21 Southern Division title winning squad and was involved with and trained multiple times with the senior Chelsea Women’s side. She was a staple in the English youth setup, called up for every England U-18 training camp in 2022.

Following her departure from Louisiana State University, Bowers relocated to Portsmouth at the beginning of the season. Before joining Chelsea’s under-18 team, the 20-year-old advanced through Southampton’s academy.
She has also played for England’s young teams at all levels, from the under-14s to the under-19s. Bowers played a key role in the London club’s 2021 FA WSL Academy League winning team, which gave her access to Emma Hayes’ first team training programme.
