Josip Juranovi is a right-back for the Croatian National Football Team and Scottish Premiership club Celtic. He is a professional football player from Croatia. He was born on August 16, 1995 and is 27 years old and is 1.73 m (5 ft 8 in) tall. Juranovic is in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend Lana Miholjevic.
Having played football since he was a youngster, he has a remarkable understanding of the game. Juranovi is renowned for his innovative and offensive style of play, which has improved him to the rank of top players in the world.
Croatian-born Juranovi, who was raised in Zagreb, rose through the ranks at third-tier Dubrava and spent two months at nearby NK Croatia Sesvete academy. In early 2014, he won the Croatian stage of the Nike Chance amateur player competition, which gave him the opportunity to compete for a spot on the Nike Academy team.
He made his third-tier senior debut in the 2012–13 campaign. He went back to his club, though, after failing to make the final five. His club performances were strong, and HNK Hajduk Split took notice of him when certain media outlets hailed him as the greatest player of the 2014–15 Trea HNL Zapad autumn stage. He began playing for Hajduk Split’s third-tier B team in January 2015 after signing a three-and-a-half-year contract with the club. However, in April 2015, under the leadership of new manager Goran Vuevi, he was promoted to the first team, where he made his debut. in a 2-1 home defeat to Rijeka in the Prva HNL. For his contributions to the 2017–18 Prva HNL Team of the Season, Juranovi was chosen in June 2018.
Juranovic signed a five-year contract with Scottish Premiership team Celtic in August 2021 after leaving Legia Warsaw. £2.5 million was paid as the transfer price. Juranovic started at left back during his first stint at Celtic, including his debut against Rangers at Ibrox, despite having spent the majority of his professional career as a right back.
In his first season, he would start taking penalties for Celtic, scoring four times in the league, including against Real Betis and Bayer Leverkusen. He participated in Celtic’s triumph over Hibernian in the League Cup in December.
He was named to the PFA Scotland Team of the Year for his contributions to Celtic’s title-winning defence. On October 1, 2022, he scored a goal against Motherwell. Due to Tin Jedvaj’s injury, Croatia’s manager Zlatko Dali reinstated Juranovi from the waiting list on September 6, 2019, for the nation’s Euro 2020 qualifying matches against Slovakia and Azerbaijan.
