His full name is Joshua Lincoln Alexander Primo. He was born on December 24, 2002, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She has an older sister named Keshia who is also a basketball player.
He did his schooling at Huntington Prep School in Huntington, West Virginia, and Royal Crown Academic School in Scarborough, Toronto, where he also played basketball. He switched to the 2020 class and received his diploma early.
Later, he enrolled at the University of Alabama, where he decided to play basketball in college, picking the Crimson Tide over Creighton.
