Just recently, Jen Rufo, a former Nets cheerleader, made some wild claims about having slept with multiple Nets players during the course of last season. In the now-viral clip, she also explained about her experiences working as a Nets dance girl. She stated:
They don’t technically say it’s not allowed, just frowned upon. So during the time I was dancing with them I just did it anyway. I was there for like four years and over the course of that I did hook up with a couple of players.”

Despite the bold claims, no one has come out to confirm Rufo’s claims. In fact, a current Nets cheerleader claimed:
I don’t know who she is, but she definitely hasn’t been part of the team in the last seven years. It couldn’t have involved any recent players. To the best of my knowledge, no one has had a relationship with a Nets player during my tenure with the team. I genuinely despise this sort of situation because it tarnishes our reputation and professionalism.”
Amidst the speculations about the identities of the players, the suspicions of the fans fell on one player, Mikal Bridges. Bridges is arguably one of the Nets’ best players, and his reply to Rofu’s statements sparked some intrigue. Bridges claimed that he wasn’t involved with the former cheerleader, but Mavericks swingman Grant Williams trolled him by replying to his tweet.
He mentioned a former Instagram model named Aliza who also made similar claims about having slept with several Phoenix Suns players back in 2020, which Bridges couldn’t deny his involvement with. Things could get more complicated if news about his involvement comes true, as he is currently in a relationship with Grainger Rosati, a professional model and hockey player.
