Jeff Saturday is a former American football center and a well-known sports analyst. He has been in the news because he was recently chosen as the interim head coach of Indianapolis Colts.

His real name is Jeffrey Bryant Saturday. He was born on born June 18, 1975 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jeff Saturday did his schooling at Shamrock High School in Decatur, Georgia, in 1993. Later, he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill after getting athletic scholarship, where he was a four-year letterman.

He is married and his wife’s name is Karen Saturday. They both have 3 three children together and their names are Jeffrey Douglas Saturday, Savannah Faith Saturday, and Joshua Bryant Saturday.

His height is 6 ft 2 inches or 1.88 m and his weight is 295 lbs or 134 kg. He is currently 47 years old.

His Career

At the University of North Carolina, Jeff Saturday participated in collegiate football. In 1998, he was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent, but the team released him before he had a chance to play.

He next joined the Indianapolis Colts, where he played for 13 seasons, defeated the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI, and was named to four All-Pro teams and five Pro Bowls. He qualified for his sixth Pro Bowl while playing for the Green Bay Packers during his last NFL season.

Jeff Saturday made the announcement that he would retire after the 2013 Pro Bowl game on January 25, 2013. Later, in 2013, he joined ESPN as a sports analyst, where he now makes frequent appearances on shows including NFL Live and SportsCenter with him given a contract extension in 2022. Saturday played four seasons at UNC from 1994 to 1997 and was a two-year captain and earned All-ACC first team center honors in 1996 and 1997 and made the ACC’s All-Academic team in 1997.
