Jatin Sapru is a renowned sports television host and cricket commentator who was born on April 8, 1986, in Kashmir, India. He currently works for Star Sports network and also has his own YouTube channel, titled ‘Jatin Sapru’ where he regularly uploads vlogs. Jatin is currently 38 years old.
Jatin was born into a family of academic Kashmiri Pandits and his grandfather was a reputed professor. During their early years, the family lived on a farm in Kashmir but eventually had to leave after facing regular communal agitations. As a result, they eventually moved to a one-bedroom apartment in Delhi.

Jatin Sapru has a degree in Journalism, which he obtained after dropping out of engineering. As a a child, Jatin excelled at various sports, including cricket, javelin throw and shotput.

Career
Jatin Sapru initially took up engineering but eventually lost interest and drop-out. After dropping out from engineering, Jatin took up Journalism. During his time at college, he did odd jobs with an event manager following which he interned at a small-scale media channel.
Jatin later started working for Tangerine, where he wrote sports content scripts for network providers, airline magazines, and also commentated for mobile ESPN. However, despite all his efforts, he earned a meager INR 6,500 back then. After winning a Talent Hunt competition organized by ESPN, Jatin eventually started his stint with Star Sports/ESPN. He has since stayed with the Channel and proven to be a loyal employee.
Jatin is paid between USD 80,000-350,000 per season as a commentator in the IPL. He has a net worth of Rs.10-20 crore.
